My name is Will Slattery and I am an emerging editor and camera operator who was born in Adelaide, South Australia. Recently I graduated from MAPS Film School. Before starting my journey at MAPS, I discover in my senior schooling my natural ability for editing and camera operating. This then encouraged me to follow my dreams to pursue a career in this industry. Since starting at MAPS, I have been fortunate to have worked on many incredible student productions, such as editing the horror, thriller, ‘Run Rabbit Run”, camera operating the documentary, ‘Get a Real Job’, which highlights the mistreatment of fast-food employees by the customers. I have also camera assisted on a horror film called Carnifex which is directed by Sean Lahiff and is in theatres now at this current moment. With guidance and assistance from Sam Dawson who was involved with the feature film Mortal Kombat (2021), I have honed my skill set and developed my passion for camera operation & editing. I will continue to progress as an individual in the film industry.
