Hello beautiful people,

My name is Constance Allan and I’m an Australian writer based nowhere in particular. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Creative and Professional Writing (with Distinction) from Queensland University of Technology. My work appears both online and in print.

In 2023, I was named an emerging writer to watch by the State Library of Queensland and a runner-up in the Young Writers Award. In 2024, I studied under Australian author, Claire Thomas, as a part of the Kill Your Darlings mentorship program for which I received funding by Regional Arts Australia. I’ve just returned from Kavala, Greece where I was writer-in-residence at Eutopia Art Residency.

I write about a lot: travel, food, fashion, music, life, particularly cool or annoying things. And when I’m not doing any of this, I’m in the ocean.
