About Freelancer

Bri Hammond is a photographer living on Kaurna country, Adelaide. Her work displays a mix of authentic emotions and odd moments, usually expressed with poppy colours and graphic compositions. She loves championing the peculiarities of life and highlighting the idiosyncrasies of people and places. Originally a graphic designer, she began her career with a year-long residency at Fabrica, Benetton’s Creative Research Centre in Treviso, Italy. Bri now creates images for a wide range of commercial clients and publications across Australia with a unique visual approach.

Bri has been selected by Lürzer’s Archive as one of the 200 Best Ad Photographers worldwide for 2023/24 and was selected as the 2024 Photographer in Residence at The Mill Adelaide.

Commercial clients include Domain, Mirvac, Uniqlo, Bank Australia, Cancer Council, Bendigo Bank, Industry Super Australia, CBUS, Nancybird, Obus, Sunjellies, Gundowring Ice Cream, RMIT University, Victorian Opera, Coles Liquor. Editorial clients include Frankie Magazine, The Guardian, The Design Files and Artist Profile.

Bri was selected as one of the top 200 Advertising Photographers worldwide for the 2023/24 archive.
